Old MacAnna Had A Farm...

Sorry for the lack of blogs lately. The last two weeks have been extremely stressful and I feel like finally we are starting to return to some sense of normalcy. In the last week or so, Ron and I have been researching refinancing our mortgage since the rates have really dropped. Last night we were writing an e-mail to our accountant to ask his opinion and Anna was playing quietly in her room with her blocks. Ron poked his head in every few minutes just to make sure she wasn't getting into any trouble. When we finished up our e-mail, we went in to tell her it was time to start cleaning up and take her bath. We were shocked to see this awesome little farm she created! Doesn't it look like a real farm -okay, ignore the tree and sheep on top of the barn but the rest of it looks pretty realistic we thought! She was very proud of herself as you can see in this picture.

What a bright child! I love catching my girls doing something especially wonderful!
We're in the process of refinancing our house. We're getting a 30-year fixed rate at 5.75%. They seem to fluctuate so much from day to day but we currently have a 5 year adjustable rate that just went up, so we need to lock in.
